it was a gloriously day yesterday with silky blue skies and loads of fluffy clouds. i had my camera out the whole time i was out for lunch (with my patient colleagues again).
when we arrived at our destination, a neighborhood community center (which housed a great little hong kong-styled restaurant), the open windows and their accompanying shadows on the rounded facade immediately caught my attention. i spent the next 15 mins snapping this from as many angles as possible.
the food was on the table when i was done perfect timing.
love this love this love this - you're absolutely right in that the window's shadows are brilliant. Also like the repetition of the open windows(which matches the title perfectly - or vice versa).
i'm glad you like it. it was fun to 'discover' this shot. i almost walked right by it. nowadays i spend a lot of time looking upwards at the sky and buildings...etc when i'm out and about so that's how i saw it.
